Every gift you make during Give OUT Day isn't just a donation—it’s a chance to unlock bonus funds for the causes you love! With nearly 70 prize grants up for grabs, your support could go even further this year.
Golden Tickets are random chance drawings. Each gift you make on GiveOUTDay.org enters you to win money for the LGBTQ+ causes you support! If we randomly draw your gift, the organization you supported with that gift will receive an additional prize grant!
All you have to do is make a gift (or lots of gifts!) and we'll enter it into the prize drawings for each associated prize grant.

Did you know you can make your Give OUT Day gifts early? We start counting the total and giving out prizes on May 22, and we'll be drawing one gift each day for a $150 Early Giving Golden Ticket through June 4.
We're also giving away $200 Hourly Golden Tickets on June 5 (1 am-11 am, 1 pm-9 pm, 11 pm ET). Your donation to any registered LGBTQ+-serving nonprofit will be boosted by $200 if we draw your gift that hour!
With the grand prize of Give OUT Day, you could turn any gift of $5 or more into $2,500 for your favorite cause! One lucky donation will be randomly selected at midnight on June 6, from all gifts made during Early Giving and Give OUT Day (May 22–June 5). This award honors Ann Kaner-Roth, a tireless advocate for LGBTQ+ families and a driving force behind marriage equality in Minnesota and across the country. Her leadership of Project 515, Minnesotans United for All Families, and the National Marriage Campaign for the ACLU helped transform legal protections for LGBTQ+ communities across the Midwest and the United States.
We're igniting a little friendly competition for Give OUT Day through our Power Hours! The three registered LGBTQ+-serving organizations that raise the most money between 12-12:59 pm and 10-10:59 pm ET will share a $1,200 prize pool per hour ($500 for first, $400 for second, and $300 for third)! See the power hours page.
Generosity and strength in the LGBTQ+ community far exceed one day, which is why we're offering a $100 prize to a randomly selected organization each day throughout Pride month! Sponsored by the founders and board members of Project 515, who helped pass marriage equality in Minnesota in 2015, understand the long-lasting ripple effect your work has on LGBTQ+ individuals both during Give OUT Day and all year round.
Registered organizations in the Western Region (AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, MT, NV, OR, NM, UT, WA, and WY) are eligible for the Bay Area & West Region Prize, a $1,000 prize grant sponsored by former Give OUT Day host, Horizons Foundation. One winner will be selected through a random drawing at midnight on June 6 from all gifts made to registered orgs in the Western region between May 22 and June 5.
Registered organizations in the Midwest Region (IL, IN, IA, KS, MI, MN, MO, NE, ND, OH, SD, and WI) are eligible for the Project 515 Equality Prize. It’s a $2,500 prize grant that will be awarded at midnight on June 6 through a random drawing from all gifts made to registered organizations in the Midwest region between May 22 and June 5. This award honors the founders and board members of the Minnesota-based advocacy organization Project 515, which co-founded Minnesotans United for All Families, the first campaign to ever defeat a constitutional amendment limiting the freedom to marry for same-sex couples in 2012, and helped secure marriage equality for same-sex couples in Minnesota in 2013. Those accomplishments went on to inspire other national marriage equality efforts, which ultimately led to the landmark ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges, which granted the freedom to marry for all same-sex couples in the United States in 2015.
All organizations registered by May 15 at 2 pm ET will be entered to win a $250 prize just for signing up! This prize will be drawn on May 16.
Only online gifts made using debit and credit cards, Paypal, or Venmo will count toward prizes. Offline gifts and matching gifts do not count toward prizes.
