Advocates is working to create environments where all young people feel valued, respected, and supported. Join us on May 30th for Give Out Day 2024 by supporting our goal to provide vital LGBTQ+ inclusive and affirming sex education to millions of youth across the country. Your gift will:
Help us to train healthcare providers. Advocates has created training modules to help clinicians take gender-neutral health histories, use proper pronouns for trans and gender-expansive youth, and understand the unique needs of young LGBTQ+ patients.
Assist us to resource schools. Help us to bring LGBTQ+-inclusive and affirming sex education curricula and training to more school districts across the country. Assist us in working with additional school districts to implement policies and practices that support, reflect, and affirm trans and gender-expansive students.
Support young people’s efforts to improve LGBTQ+ policies and practices. Young LGBTQ+ youth and their allies are working to create a better world for themselves and their peers. Help us to provide these youth organizers with the training, resources and support they need to make change on their college campuses, in their middle and high schools, and at the state and federal levels.
