When we fight, we win.

LGBTQ+ people have been fighting for the right to openly be ourselves for longer than anyone now alive can remember. We’re talking hundreds if not thousands of years. We are no strangers to hatred, violence, or unfair odds. The past and present of our LGBTQ+ community resonates with resilience, strength, and a powerful history of achieving victories once thought impossible. We’ve learned that when we fight, we win.

The battles ahead are no different . If we want our future to be brighter, it’s time to commit to keeping our movement going forward for as long as it takes. It's a movement fueled by passion, courage, and an unyielding belief in the power of community. It's a movement that echoes through the halls of history, from Stonewall to the White House. And it's a movement that needs you.

This year for Give OUT Day, we’re asking you to join us in this fight for the long haul by becoming a monthly donor. Whether you can give $50, $20, or $5 a month, your compassion and dedication will go a long way toward achieving our shared goal of inclusion and belonging for LGBTQ+ people and families. Your support at any level sends a powerful message—that you stand with us, that you believe in our cause, and that you're willing to fight alongside us for however long it takes.

In the face of adversity, the spirit of LGBTQ+ resilience burns bright within the hearts of all those who dare to dream of – and fight for – a better world. It is a spirit that has been at the heart of Rocky Mountain Equality’s mission for decades, and which drives us to confront injustice head-on to this day.

Join us in the fight. It won't be easy, but nothing worth fighting for ever is. When we fight together, we win together.

"I first learned about Out Boulder County when I needed advice, advocacy, and guidance on how to deal with the bullying my then-sixth grader was experiencing at middle school...The hate and homophobia that still exists in the world (yes, even in Boulder County!) is terrifying to the parent of a gay kid.

Because of OBC, I feel more empowered to face those headwinds. OBC offers unconditional support, instructive resources, role models for my child, and a community for all of us. I have lived in Boulder since 2004, and I can honestly say that OBC is one of my most favorite aspects of this city."
