PFLAG ANN ARBOR

PFLAG IS HERE TO PROVIDE SUPPORT, INFORMATION, AND RESOURCES FOR LGBTQ+ PEOPLE, THEIR PARENTS, FAMILIES, AND ALLIES.

What we do:

• Provide mutual support based on respect for the rights, knowledge, and abilities of everyone, to empower all of us to thrive.

• Educate ourselves, each other, and the general public so that our shared knowledge and experience will increase public awareness, appreciation, and support.

• Engage in advocacy and activities that promote and protect the equal rights, participation, and acceptance of LGBTQ+ people.

Group support is available at our monthly meetings. Phone and email support are available as needed.

What we're doing::

• Monthly peer support on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 2 PM, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Ann Arbor.
• Quarterly support meetings on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6 PM, at Ozone House (March, June, September) at the same time as PrideZone meets (young adult group). 
• Adoption of GSAs at Title 1 schools in the greater Ann Arbor area.
• Monthly e-newsletter with local news, events and resources.
• Personalized information and referral services by phone and email.
• Information tables at area LGBTQ+ events (area. Pride events, Big Gay Read, Parent Weekend at Spectrum Center). 
• Affirmative support for area school and governmental policies.
