The Borderland Rainbow Center’s mission is to create a community space in which lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex (LGBTQI) people and their allies can heal, grow, and empower themselves and others.
We provide a wide variety of services to LGBTQ+ people of all ages including:
- psychotherapy on a sliding scale
- Peer support groups (Rainbow Kids (middle school LGBTQ+ ), True Colors (teen LGBTQ+), Adult Transgender, Stonewall Recovery, Family of Trans Folk)
- focused case management (gender affirming care for adult transfolk, and gender affirming care for families)
- Food pantry
- Dedicated teams for Senior Services, Youth Services, HIV services, Healing Sexual Trauma
- Positive social supports and events
- Education and Training (www.driep.org) for businesses, schools, governmental organizations, non-profits, social service providers, and the general public)
