The Campaign for Southern Equality (CSE) is based in Asheville, North Carolina, and is working to build a South where LGBTQ people are equal in every part of life. A South where your zipcode doesn’t determine your rights. Where all of us are free to be who we truly are and love who we truly love.

Right now 75% of transgender youth in the South live in states that have passed anti-trans healthcare bans, and thousands of families need help to continue accessing gender-affirming healthcare. That’s why the CSE has launched the Southern Trans Youth Emergency Project,  a new regional effort which provides rapid response support directly to the families of youth who are impacted by anti-transgender healthcare bans in the South. STYEP, in close partnership with state and local organizations, helps families connect with the care they need and deserve even in the face of oppressive laws. The project provides emergency grants, patient navigation support, and an ecosystem of care to impacted families in every Southern state that has passed a restriction.

Thank you for helping to raise visibility and funds for this important project!
