My name is Juniperangelica Gia Loving, and I am the incoming Co-Executive Director for GSA Network as of last Fall-- this is my first GiveOUT Day in the role. I began organizing in high school when I tried starting a GSA club on campus. When my school admin pushed back against our club, I needed community support and reached out to GSA Network. Over the last decade, GSA Network has continuously given me the opportunity to grow my leadership and expand my vision of TQ2S liberation.

Modern-day experiences for TQ2S young people reflect many of the same patterns felt by past generations... a lack of belonging, indirect and direct attacks, and a sense of hopelessness about our futures. At the same time, patterns of resistance also shine through; these moments of student power are clear during student-led demonstrations, campaigns, and storytelling. As much as there is work to be done, there are also the TQ2S youth leaders who are down to preserve!

We still got work to do. 

Freedom is an everyday practice and we need each other.
